Rev. Dr. A. Michael John, SJ

Rev. Dr. A. Michael John, SJ is a Jesuit priest, educator, management scholar, and leadership consultant with extensive experience in higher education, institutional development, and organizational leadership. He holds an MBA, M.A. (Human Resource Management), and a Ph.D. in Management Studies. He has served in key academic and administrative positions in Jesuit institutions and has contributed significantly to leadership formation, capacity building, strategic planning, and organizational development.

A sought-after resource person and trainer, Fr. Michael John has conducted numerous seminars, workshops, and faculty development programmes at regional, national, and international levels. His academic interests include Human Resource Management, Talent Management, Leadership Development, and Institutional Transformation. Guided by the Jesuit vision of forming competent, compassionate, and committed leaders, he is presently serving as Director and Associate Professor of St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (JIM), Tiruchirappalli, where he is committed to promoting academic excellence, industry relevance, and value-based management education.
