At St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (JIM), we ensure that the faculty members get the opportunity to constantly learn and up skill themselves from prestigious institutions like IIM’s and XLRI as it would provide a growth in their careers and enhance their classroom teaching for the benefit of our students.
So, from this academic year, we had management sponsored FDP’s for our faculty members to provide a platform for them to learn the latest trends in business education. FDP’s attended by our faculty include programs and courses from top institutes in India. ‘End to End Supply Chain Management through Digitization’ from NITIE Mumbai, FinTech, Banking & Applied Risk Management from IIM Lucknow, Financial Analytics from XLRI Jamshedpur, Digital Marketing from MICA Ahmedabad and Case Writing Workshop from IIM Indore are some to name a few.
As a result of these initiatives, the faculty gain a lot of valuable experience which then translates into various academic processes like curriculum design, course structuring and lecture delivery. Also, through these processes, the students gain new experiences through the faculty which would help them to face the corporate world.
