Dr. J. Michael Sammanasu is the Dean of Students, Professor, and Chair of Human Resource Management at St. Joseph's Institute of Management (JIM), St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. He has 33 years of experience teaching in Jesuit institutions and an approved research advisor in Management Studies from Bharathidasan University. His teaching and research focus on behavioural studies, human resource management, and other related management subjects and has supervised seven PhD scholars and guiding four more. He has published articles in top-tier, Scopus-indexed journals (Q1 and Q2), including recognised publishers such as Taylor & Francis and Emerald Insights and UGC CARE-listed journals. He is the author of Accounting for Decision Makers (CHESS Publishers, Chennai and Kerala) and two other books, Foundation of Humanities in Ethics and Environmental Studies, both published by St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli. He is a certified soft skills trainer trained by e2e People, Bangalore, and a Certified Behaviour & Mentoring Analyst by Talent Metrix, Mumbai. His training expertise benefits educators, corporate employees, and students across various institutions. He also serves as an Academic Member and University Nominee for the Board of Studies at colleges and Universities in Tamil Nadu.
